March 30, 2019: My portion of the story started over 6 years ago when my dad got me a copy of the Boss 302 Registry. I skimmed through to the listing showing his 1969 Boss 302 and the hunt was on!
I started searching online forums, talking to owners and fans of where this one particular Bright Yellow repainted in white Boss 302 might be. In the back of my head it was never expected to be found since it was over 30 years since he last saw it - likely several owners and possible accident history. None the less, I kept up the search (OCD much).
I came into contact with a gentleman who reportedly knew of the whereabouts of the car but would not give any real information. I received a few (terrible) photos of the car sitting in a field.

... Mid-March 2019 - Excited and unable to sleep for mine and Katie's trip to Florida for Spring Training, I began searching eBay. I scrolled past a white Boss 302 and for scrolled back to click. While clicking through the photos I thought "man if this had a little yellow it could be my dad's" - There it was a little bit of yellow paint around a molding. I clicked through to find the VIN tag and immediately noticed the familiar and correct last 6!
This brings us to today... after speaking to the owner we made a trip south to take a look. The photos don't do it justice for how beyond excited I was to share this moment with my dad. The real question is ... father/son project?
